Family with Young Children
Last stay at Holiday Inn Express. Room was fine, facilities and staff was pleasant enough. Breakfast was OK except for the scrambled eggs - worst I have ever tasted in 50 years. They were consistent - just as bad day two. Checked with the hostess who said they come pre cooked and are warmed in a microwave. The hotel itself is in a good location near I-85, but not so close to the traffic noise. There are several restaurants and a movie theater within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only drawback was that the entire first floor, including the fitness center, were under renovation. ...read more

Overall, the hotel was adequate for our needs. However, there was no diaper changing station in the lobby restroom, so while eating breakfast, I would have to return to the room I just checked out of or use the lobby sofa (which is what I did) which is not exactly sanitary for my baby or future guests. Also, the snack machine was only on the main level & would not take singles (and was broken last year when we stayed there).
